TDI Advanced Nitrox & Deco

This course combines the Advanced Nitrox and Decompression Procedures courses into a complete entry level technical decompression diving course.

The Advanced Nitrox theory examines the use of EAN-21 through 100 percent oxygen for optimal diving mixes. The objective of this is to train you in the benefits, hazards and proper procedures for utilizing EAN-21 through 100 percent oxygen for dives not requiring staged decompression.

Decompression Procedures examines the theory, methods and procedures of planned stage decompression diving. The objective is to train you how to plan and conduct a standard staged decompression dive not exceeding a maximum depth of 45 metres.

The most common equipment requirements, equipment set-up and decompression techniques are presented. Students are permitted to use Enriched Air Nitrox (EAN) mixes or oxygen for decompression up to the mixes allowed for the Advanced Nitrox certification level.
