We are the only family-run dive centre in Gloucestershire and we have a wealth of experience and knowledge in retail and the diving industry. Our aim is to provide our customers with the best advice and quality service helping them to make the right choices
Dive 90 started in November 1990 and has been based for the majority of that time at the Knightsbridge Business Centre, close to Cheltenham. We are the only family-run dive centre in Gloucestershire and to-date have trained over 9,500 divers and have sent more than 4,500 packing to exotic diving holiday destinations around the world.
During our 30 years of service we have become a one-stop shop offering training, equipment sales, regulator and cylinder servicing, dry suit repairs, holidays and UK diving trips. Our customers like to come in to browse, have a chat and maybe, just maybe, get offered a cuppa!
Our Cheltenham-based shop stocks the diving industry’s top brands in diver equipment. We hold stocks of BCDs, wings, valves, cylinders, wetsuits, dry suits, boots, fins, masks and snorkels, as well as the latest computers, watches, compasses and gauges. If you are looking for a dive bag, T-shirt, torch or knife, we have a wide range for you to choose from. We also have clips, clasps, straps, bungees, marker buoys, log books, weights and belts – in fact, everything you could possibly need for diving. And when you can’t find the time to go diving, we have a selection of books to help you plan your next trip!

Meet the Family
Steve and Eileen Ware
Steve has completed nearly 10,000 dives, 550 of these on a rebreather, of which he is an instructor and for which he has a passion . He has been a Master Instructor with SSI and PADI for 17 years and has trained hundreds of divers and travelled to many exotic locations around the world, including 175 trips to Egypt and 33 trips to Indonesia.
Eileen is the accountant and administrator of the business. She is an accomplished diver and holds the SSI diver title of Divemaster. She has completed 3,500 dives, mainly abroad. She will be first to admit she is a warm water diver! Although not an instructor, she has a wide knowledge of diving and the equipment.
Carl (known as ‘the Boy’) is the biggest asset to the business, as he is the Instructor-trainer for SSI and is also a competent rebreather diver. He is our highly-qualified on-site servicing specialist, experienced in servicing cylinders and most makes of regulator and computers. Over the last 10 years, he has trained and accompanied students from the University of West England on their annual expedition to Cuba to do research on the coral reefs, as part of their degree.
