Located in the heart of the Bunaken National Marine Park, world renowned for its marine biodiversity. The resort is situated on the western side of the lush tropical island of Pulau Siladen on a 600m fine white-sand coral beach – the only one in the area. The volcano of Manado Tua provides an impressive backdrop for this beautiful resort. Guests will enjoy the magnificent sunsets and tranquil surroundings.
Accommodation
Beach View Villas – detached, spacious 64m² traditional villas with air-conditioning, private Balinese style open air bathroom, individual sundeck and private sun beds. All villas are equipped with mini-bar, telephone, flatscreen TVs, tea & coffee-making facilities, safety deposit box, and one bottle of complimentary water per person daily.
Diving
The dive centre operates exclusively for guests staying at the resort and place a great emphasis on the protection of the National Marine Park and its environment. All dives are boat dives and are scheduled with two tank dives in the morning and a single tank in the afternoon. Divers can access over 50 dive sites all within close proximity to the Resort, as well as special trips on request to Lembeh, Bangka and Popo. Night dives are offered every night including dusk Mandarin dives. Nitrox is available at a supplement.
White Sands Beach Resort Lembeh
Located a short distance from Manado, White Sands Beach Resort is just a few minutes from world renowned dive sites and sits on the only white sand beach on Lembeh Island.
The resort’s lovely oceanfront rooms are set among attractive, well-kept gardens. Here you will find delicious cuisine, easy access to fantastic diving on the Lembeh Strait, and the best beach on Lembeh Island. A short boat ride can whisk you to critter-packed volcanic muck diving sites, with the added bonus of a superb House Reef allowing you to maximise underwater time.
Accommodation
Oceanfront Cottages – Cottages with private terrace, air-conditioning, ensuite private bathroom, hot and cold running water, semi-open shower and Western style toilet. Each Cottage can be configured as a single, double or twin bedded room. The charging points available in the room are 220V so international adapters are required.
Diving
Eco Divers dive centre resort facility uses purpose built, comfortable dive boats, which are well equipped with tank racks, a shaded salon with spacious seating, sundeck, toilet and rinse shower, as well as a tea and coffee station. Snacks and fruit are provided free of charge, as well as towels. Nitrox and a full photo and video support service is available. A typical day comprises a two-tank morning trip, with lunch back at the resort, followed by a one-tank afternoon trip. Mandarin or Night Dives are available on demand, which will generally be the fourth dive of the day. Plus, there is the amazing house reef, giving divers the perfect place to have a relaxing dive after the further afield dive sites on Bunaken Island or in the Lembeh Strait.
There are over 34 dive sites from Batu Kapal on the north of Lembeh Island to Goby A Crab in the south. These site are a must on any diver’s tick list, especially photographers!
